BROODY HEN QUESTION ?????**UPDATE**

Thought I would update again!! I went out tonight and calmly took away the decoy eggs and slipped 12 fertile eggs under my new broody hen!! I was so nervous....but to my surprise I didn't get any complaining from her!! She stayed in her spot and got all comfy on her new eggs!!


So I should count tomorrow as day one right???

I have my fingers crossed that this works!

That is great news. I'm glad it's working out for you. Were these your eggs from the incubator or fresh eggs? If fresh, yes tomorrow is day 1.

fresh eggs collected today from my other girls. I still have eggs in incubator due to hatch on Sunday.
