We have a few things happenin.

1 original 7 .. 6 hens 1 rooster.
this year we got 7 hens they just started laying we have kept them near but to together. We just started in the evenings trying to incorporate them... The adults chase them back to their area.. as of now... fun part. We are moving soon.. soo a new spot will help.

But with àll this fun. Lol
we also have a broody hen on 12 eggs!! Due 8 more days.
my concern is she comes out to eT and now the original.. Specifically her sister .. actual original hatch mate is not accepting the broody hen! she used to be the main original with her other original 2 mates. Since going broody she is getting jumped at Coming out to get food water.
Will we have to seperate her and chicks once being hatched?

Some people separate, some don't. Putting a crate in, or separating part of the run and putting mom and chicks in may help. They can see each other, but not touch. This will also help when its time to put them back together.
