A couple of weeks ago I asked for advice on breaking the habits of a broody hen. I received a lot of great advice, so thank you all. In the end we went with the "get the eggs as soon as possible" method.

As soon as we saw eggs in the nesting boxes we hurried in there to take them out. It took awhile of doing this but I am happy to say that the broody hen, is broody no more.

Good job!

Great! Congrats!

Did you toss her out of the nest when you got the eggs?

Just remember, the hen can still go broody in a couple weeks again. And so on in the following years
