I have a Plymouth barred rock hen. When she goes to lay she sits on the egg she’s just laid until somebody pulls her out. She’s also plucked out her stomach feathers. I would normally assume she’s broody, accept that she’s still laying. Her name in Samantha.

I would say Samantha is broody.
Sometimes if a hens eggs are taken away on a regular basis when they go broody they lay a few eggs so they have something to hatch. You would probably find if you left her eggs under her she would stop laying eggs in two or three days and sit on what she has.

I don’t take away her eggs, i just move her out of the nest box

I would think if you left her she would go full on broody.
It's not uncommon for even a full on broody hen to lay two or three more eggs once she has decided to sit.
It could be that you disturbing her is preventing full broodiness.
