She can, she's a bantam so pretty small

You'll need to leave her in there until she breaks.

After 48 hours I let her out of crate very near roosting time(30-60 mins) if she goes to roost great, if she goes to nest put her back in crate for another 48 hours.

I've been doing that but for the day because I have no where to put the crate at night.

That makes it harder for sure, you'll have to get her back into the crate as early as possible in the morning.
