Broody Hen

Hi

When can i start raising chicks Naturaly. My Warren has gone Broody again but i think its to early in thye year. I was going to buy fertile eggs.

Get it while the iron is hot so to speak. Unless you're in an extremely cold climate I think it will be fine, she'll keep them warm.

If she's broody I'd say give her some eggs. I've had broody hens raise chicks over winter with no problems. They did a good job keeping the babies warm.
