Hi everyone. I am a novice hen keeper. My sister in law bought me a small coop and some chickens for a Christmas gift and I have to admit to becoming totally besotted with these beautiful girls. I have three.Yesterday my Orpington White, Sybil, decided to sit on two eggs for most of the day. She is still there this morning, and pecks me if I go near her. From reading a previous thread I understand that she may be broody, and I was wondering if it would be a terrible thing to just remove the eggs? The coop is far too small just to leave her sitting in poop. I've been reading about broody boxes but have no idea where to find one. Your answers would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
