We have 3 Red Island Reds which we though were supposed to not be broody. One of our Hens went broody about 2 months ago so we separated her in a cage that allowed air to flow underneath her. After about 2 or 3 days we released her back with the flock and she seemed good to go. Now, she's broody and has been for a few weeks. We just separated her again today, but this is becoming a problem.
Has this happened to anyone else? do you have any thoughts or recommendations? Each time she goes broody it affect the egg production of the other hens and causes chaos in the coop.
thanks
