broody hen

I often wonder what goes through a broody girls mind. Mine squat forever like they have no legs then go bawwwwwwk like a loony and take off running. They do their thing and then head right back. The bawk is so loud it riles up the rest of the flock haha

As for your other hen I'm glad to hear she's not attacking anymore. Maybe now she's jumping up looking for a snack

I just figured it out, she is always hiding, and looking to escape, and my coop is very small what i cant reach standing at the door i can by pitting one foot in the coop, what i have come to realize is that she was never coming after me, she was looking for a way out, even if that meant climbing on and over me to get there! I feel so bad for her, i have to run all the other hens out and close the door, just so she can eat amd drink, my coop is just too small, im trying tp sell her now, but if im unsuccessful, ill have to give her away.

Oh, thats too bad. Do you have any extra room to add another food and water station?

It would get pretty tight, but they wont let her leave that spot, so ot wouldn't do any good.
