But you could take the crates out and set them in the yard.
Best if you can keep them raised off the ground tho.

I'd keep them confined. They won't really get bored in there, any anxiety you see them displaying is because they want to get out and get back on the nests.

Thanks, One is only slightly anxious. I think tomorrow I’ll try to return savanna to the flock. Genevieve if anxiety is a indicator may need more days. Thanks for the Info!

If confined I do have to keep them in the house. This Florida weather is like 90° and 95% humidity! My flock has tons of shade I wet down the area put ice in their water etc. I really have to watch them carefully. I have various sources of nice clean water but they always choose to Wade then poop in the container of shallow water I keep for wadingWhich is discouraging.

Just wanted to update. After 3 days of jail I successfully returned the two to the flock! They have been ok for 3 days now.thanks again for the helpful advise!
