Help everyone! I have a broody hen with some eggs under her. They are due to hatch on Easter Sunday.
She got off the nest yesterday to run out and dust bath and one of my other hens quiet literally ran into her nest box and pecked two of the eggs. One was fertilized and one was not which resulted in yolk getting all over the other eggs. I know that you can't wash eggs that you intend to hatch so what I am wondering is if she is going to end up with any chicks at all or did the yolk from the one egg end it all. I really appreciate any help or input on this matter.
