I think my hens have finally decided to go broody!
My one muscovy hen is now on her eggs. She gets up for a few hours at a time to eat and bathe, but always ends up back on the nest. And now she squawks when I even go near the pen! She only had 7 eggs under her when I last snuck a peak, but I don't care as long as she hatches something!

And I had a campbell make a nest a week or so ago. She was stealing the other eggs she could find (the ones laid randomly on the floor) and has been putting them in the nest too. This morning she had 29 eggs in it!
I went out a few hours later to show someone the nest, and there are 2 campbells sitting on the eggs! They got up when they saw me, but wouldn't leave the nest alone.

    This is so exciting!
