Two of my pekin bantams have gone broody, there is no cockerel so nothing is being fertilised. One of them has been broody for over a month, just after one of my hens died. I have tried "chicken jail", locking them out of the coop, making the coop uncomfortable and placing frozen water bottles under them but nothing seems to be working. They do move around and have something to eat and drink but then they are straight back to waiting outside the coop door in their run or outside the coop if I have closed the run off. (food and water are available outside when I do this). Has anyone got any tips to break them?
