Broody Hens

I am trying to find a breed that goes broody very often. Which breed would be best to sit on multiple eggs of multiple breeds? Thanks everyone.

silkies have my vote for broodiest, but has anyone have more than five big eggs hatch under one though

Silkies, Cochins, orpington's, wyandottes, barnevelders are some broody breeds.

I've heard Buff Orpingtons are very broody.

My Cochins go broody all the time. I have one buff hen that lays about 15 eggs and then goes broody. She won't give up either. She will sit for months until she is a mama. Once she has been a mama and eventually starts laying again...15 eggs and then broody.
