If you really want her to be broody I'd lock her in that brooder area and block the window so it is pretty dark. I think it being dark helps them settle. I'd keep her away from her old nest (unless you are willing for her to incubate and hatch there) until all signs of being broody are gone. Either break her or don't.

The tween has let her back into the main run (tweens are not known for their patience). So, if this hen (named Clover) decides to set on the regular nests, as before, then we will need to decide to either break her or do as you suggest - keep her in the brooder and make it a bit darker to possibly hatch some eggs. We will check later today to see where Clover is at: running around, being a chicken, or in her favorite nest box deciding to be broody. Since we are relatively new at all this, we are learning as we go!
