Broody in Feb!!!??

what i use for a broody box is a tidy cat litter container, movable, cleanable, reusable, and with serama you can even feed and water them in there. If you move her you need to close of the front of the new box in the dark for at least 12 hours, so she decides that is her spot.

She is all good now! I have food and water in there and i will have to let her out to go potty every day.

Great! You are on day 1 and I am on day 7. We will have a week of hatching starting in about 2 weeks.

I don't think I'm going to candle. It is just too cold. This batch is all nature. DH and I decided that she will kick out the ones that aren't any good. We'll trust her.

It's starting to bug me a little though, I'm getting very curious. I'm 46 and still can't sleep on Christmas Eve. I have a feeling this is going to be the same thing.

All nature. That is how we are going too. I am sooo excited!!!! Due around the 17th.

This is BETTER than Christmas!!!! I hope the weather holds, like maybe an early spring. I really don't want to have a brooder in the house yet. I am in the middle of spring cleaning early.

You all have been hit HARD this year. Here in Maine it has been do-able.
