Broody in Feb!!!??

Prolly is fine too. She hasn't poo'd since fri nite/sat am. She will go when she needs to. Today, I noticed she ate some, so maybe tonite she'll go. Don't worry. When she went last time, it was the size of a baseball!

I have noticed that she is turning in the box. Her view isn't very good, since all she can see is stock tank. lol. Oh well, I'm trying not to get anxious. She has a week and a half to go.
 
I saw my broody get up and drink today. She stood and drank quite a few beakfuls then sat back down on her eggs. That was the first I had seen her move, so was interesting to see how she did it and for how long. While she was standing up, there very many interested hens and roosters watching her too.
 
Goodmorning All! She still has not gone potty! But thats ok. I dont know if i want to candle or not. They are brown so i dont think i can see throe the shell.

Good morning, folks! I have 2 broody Silkies. One of them is sitting on nothing, as I won't let her hatch any eggs - and the other is sitting on a HUGE egg that one of my Brahmas laid. The egg was slightly over 3" long and I can't imagine what might come out of it. Does anyone know if a HUGE egg will result in a HUGE chick??? I'm thinking it could be a throwback from the dinosaur age.. The Silkie that is sitting on this egg will not get off the egg for anything, so I had to hang one of those nipple feeders from the top of her cage/crate, and put a bowl of food inside her nesting box. She did finally eat and when she started drinking, I thought she would never stop. Also, does anyone know if twins could come out of an egg? Thank you.

My edit. The HUGE egg is due to hatch around the 1st or 2nd of March.

She has two so far, I expect that the third will be sometime tomorrow since I put an extra egg under her on day 2 of sitting. I could only get a pic of one baby, I think the other was camera shy.
