Broody in Feb!!!??

Hi Everybody, I was a bad chicken grandma this am. I went to the barn armed with the camera. I looked and looked, but just couldn't see anything. So... I reached under her and pulled out an egg to see if it had pipped. No pip, but it PEEPED at me!!!! I quickley put it back then I could hear other peeping. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!

There is at least one chick.

Momma let her peek her head out for just a second. She is yellow with a black racing stripe down her back. I couldn't see all of her, so I don't know if she is "chipmunky". She was all dry though.

The good news is I have at least 4 chicks. The bad news is, no pics. They won't come out to play...
