I had to share, my chicks are 5 weeks old today. Looks like one is a rooster though so he will either be rehomed or be invited to dinner.

Yah! I have 28 already and here comes more babies! I aven't had any pips yet. I am going to put them in "lock down" this afternoon. My friend is coming over and I'm going to candle them one more time while I put them in the egg cartons that I cut the bottoms off of. Then I'll crank up the humidity and away we go!

I'm putting some eggs in the bator in the next day or two. Hope this hatch goes better than when I tried it before!

ugh, the cuteness goes by too fast. Mine will be two weeks old this weekend. already. phooey. they already have their wings and some are getting the feathers on their upper back (shoulder), but, yet seem so small.

our babies grow up so fast don't they. and soon, we must let them spread their wings..........hahaha. to bed with me. Good nite.

I know. Mine are 3 1/2 weeks old now. I went out last night to check on everyone. Momma was sitting BESIDE the chick pile.

My bator hasn't gotten any pips yet. I'm on day 18 today. I'll post pics of those when I get them.
