I just saw this thread, right now I have 4 broodies!! They're driving me nuts!
Every one of my broody hens have a little Ayam Cemani in them, I had heard that AC's were broody prone, but I never expected something like this.
I have had plenty of broodies before, but none of them have been as vicious as Jackie, Jasmine, Ebony, and Blackberry!

That is exactly what she was doing! LOL
Well she has spent the day in her cage( right side up) outside with her flockmates in the nice cool sunshine! Lots go eat and drink, hoping it is going to do the trick, she is gonna sleep in that cage for good measure!

Yup, keep her in the cage day and night until she no longer goes into the nest box. If she goes back in the box after a few days. Put her back for a day or two more.

My broody is sleeping on the roost!!! I released her this afternoon while I cleaned the coop!!!!
