Broody Java Hen

So my java recently started laying and has gone broody. My thought is either to let her try to hatch two eggs and hope that she will stop being broody once she has them or to try and break her from it. She barely gets up out of the nest. Thanks in advance
 
congrats on such a young broody, if you have a rooster in the flock very possible eggs are viable. if not then I would break her or find some viable eggs and sneak another 2-4 under her if you want chicks.
 
Only let her hatch if you want more chickens, and have a plan for extra cockerels. Since Javas are heritage birds that are rare, if the roo is also a Java, and IF the other criteria fit, then why not. BUT only if, IMO. We see a lot of posts on here from people that let their hens hatch, and then have more chicks, and especially cockerels, that no one wants.
