BROODY MAMA DISASTER. i need help.

It has so much will to live its trying so hard! I feel so horrible. Here is the picture... Its graphic. View attachment 1359315
I've only had one survive this kind of problem. It's chances arent good, it has to be left to dry and fall off on it's own. I have tried cutting them off before and keeping the damp hoping they would absorb it, those ones died. maybe try sticking it to it's underbelly so the other chicks and momma wont pick at it.

that's the only thing that I've had work so far.

:hugs

I agree that it doesn't look good :( Only thing to really do is to wait and see if it dries up and falls off. It looks like it's just yolk - I don't see any intestines or anything like that, so that's good.

Well guys. The chick did not make it. But in its place a new one hatched. I hear scratching from the last few eggs but no peeps. Will they hatch soon?
