Actually, as far as Olivia is concerned, I'm considering something and I need input from others with more broody hen experience.
Since tomorrow is Day 20 for her one egg, what if I move her and that egg after dark tonight, and, at the same time, slip the two GLW chickies underneath her? She was dead set on not staying on that nest in the broody pen before, but would thinking her chicks are hatching "anchor" her to the nest and would she most likely continue to sit that one egg till it hatches, even if that doesn't happen till Saturday? What say you experts?
