broody or not?

Hey everyone! I've posted a q before about my hen... whether if she's broody or not. So I've moved her in a secured area with my young leghorns, she didn't want to sit on the nest there... So yday I've let out older hens and also her, she used the opportunity to sneak into the coop and sit on eggs... So I decided to make her a safe area with net-wire separating her from the older hens... I tried to get her off the nesting box she didn't want to, she wasnt going fluffy just making those warning sounds and pecking here n there. So I got her up along with the box and placed her in the safe zone. Found her out this morning, chilling lol... got back after few hrs still out, she was out most of the day so I was like she's not broody grrrr... So I decided to put my young leghorns with her so that the older hens get used to them but ofc.with a wire separating them. An hour ago I found her on the nest again, been a while for her sitting there I tried to lift her up but she was pretty agressive with pecking this time. So she kinda tricked me again interrupting my plan lmao... She's toying with me for real. I honestly don't know what to do, no clue if she's broody or not anyone to help me out? I've put yday night 8 eggs under her. This is her right now.

Hi, usually if they are broody they would be on their eggs 24/7, and they wouldn't get out, not even to eat. If another chicken or you gets close to her she would start screaming and fluffing her feathers out. I don't think she is, she might just feel like sitting on her eggs but not necessarily broody. I don't move them to the brooding area until they are on the nest for most the day and all night for 3 days running.

Put her in the 'safe place' brooding area with a nest of fake eggs.
Leave her there for a day, if she's really broody she will stick tight to nest.

Some birds like to lounge in the nests before and after laying, do not mistake this for broodiness.
