Broody Pandemic

The broody duck pandemic has spread!

I had one broody Dragon duck who hatched out two babies. Well she tried to go sit on a second nest right after.

Now I have two more that want to brood!

Then Tiny Broody who decided this morning she would sit on a few chicken eggs mixed with ducks




Last is “Iwanna Broody” we are not sure she will be serious about her claiming broodiness

I had over half of my flock go broody at once... (4 out of 6 hens)

It sucked though because they couldn't hatch anything (non-fertilized eggs)

It took a long time to break them!

I thankfully am hatching eggs for people so I can give them eggs. It’s just crazy how things spread!
