Broody questions I'm sure were already asked

lol...lol. just couldn't stop!
It's kinda like having a baby around, sooner or later the conversations turns to the color and consistency of the "B.M"
yup, if I get worried about my broody one, i pick her up and set her near the food and water. She'll lay a big 'un (and I don't mean egg), drink, stretch, eat, dustbathe and make her way back to the nest.
I've been told that usually you are lucky if half the eggs hatch. I think it's worth it. It is so much fun watching your own. And the chicks behave differently than store bought!
Although my vet strongly advises immunization for marek's disease, which must be done within the 1st 48 hours after hatching.
