Another question!

It is day 20 and Dot has pulled a bunch of her feathers out, they are on the nest and around the opening of the door. Is this normal...and does it signal anything? Is this something they do the day before? or the week before? something like that?

I'm not sure which date to go off, because we had a chicken sitting on them the week before Dot started. I'm not sure which to count from. If I start counting from the day the chicken sat on them it would be day 27.

I'm also worried that some of the eggs will hatch a couple days before the others and Dot might stop sitting on the others. There were 7 eggs when the chicken started sitting. Dot layed an egg everyday after that and now there are 14.

My hen and tom threw a whole bunch of feathers after she started coming out of the nest. Then they just stopped. But this is different from what you're describing. I didn't have mine pull anything. I would count from the day anyone started sitting. This would be the first day of incubation in my opinion. Once they start sitting, the babies start growing!
