Broody RP turkey hen ... QUESTION!!!

There are two now that I can see, Dot is being a good Mom. This one was outside the nest when I went to check on them. I brought it up, took a couple pictures and took it back down. She cooed and talked to it and tucked it under her....then pecked me hard.
Obviously these first two are a result of the Wild turkey and Dot...wonder if I'll get any Strut babies in this batch. I have to figure out what this chick is colored like. Someone told me what I would get...I forgot.

That's really neat! They're adorable! I love wild turkeys. They're so brilliantly colored. You should have a nice interesting couple of poults. I was wonderign where they got that dark coloring and started wondering if my babies weren't turkeys!! !LOLOLOL!!! <<<<kidding>>>>

I asked and was told that the eggs fertilized by the Eastern Wild will produce 50% Bronze and 50% Narragansett. All will carry a blackwing gene and I may find solid black wing feathers on some of them when they mature and feather out. If any were fertilized by my RP tom..of course they would be pb.
They certainly are cute!

So they told you that you would get Narragansett and Bronze when you cross a wild turkey with a Royal Palm????? Interesting ....

Congrats!!! They look beautiful! How adorable! Hard to believe they grow up so fast ans look so different. I hatched a bunch of guineas this year and, as chicks, they are SO adorable and precious. I wonder why they have to grow up to be so goofy and scary looking!!!! LOLOLOL!!! Again, very sweet babies! I will be looking forward to sharing their growing up with you!
