Broody Shadow On Day 18....They're hatching! Hatch Complete

I am sooooooo excited! These guys are going to be so cute. I love blue orps.

So far, there is still one egg under her. The blue Orp and BR babies are peeking out from under her much more, too. She seems quite satisfied and if a chicken can smile in contentment, Shadow just did.

The last baby has hatched, a blue or black Orp, too wet to tell yet. So, all three chicks are out, the broken shells removed and Shadow is pleased as punch.

Shadow appears to be a great mommy. Wish I had her sister.

Shadow has shown the babies how to eat and drink and they are all over the little broody pen with her. So, I have the BR, one blue Orp and one black Orp in there and she is a happy camper with her little ones. Future pics of them I'll put in the Raising Chicks area, rather than here.
