Are bantams more likely to go broody than large chickens
I am not positive, but I think so. Many of the larger breeds have been bred for egg production eliminating the instinct of broodiness. I don't think this is true for bantams as the eggs are much smaller, so egg production was not the goal with most or all the bantam breeds.

Update to my serama. She started brooding a golf ball & then an empty nest box, BUT she was in a box coop in the run, so I had pity on her & put 4 eggs under her. 2 hatched (but not hers). She is THE BEST MOM EVER! The little family is so cute & she defends them like a lion! She ran my goats & 90 lb dog out of the run & away from her babies. So adorable!
