I’m so excited! My loving Broody Speckled Sussex has hatched out 2 of her chicks 
with 3 eggs under her. The 3rd chick has pipped out externally but taking a rest break. The 4th chick
is pecking from the inside but no visible pips yet. Definitely working on it pretty good. The 5th egg 
I am not certain about, I don’t hear anything and am having difficulty verifying movements as before when candling.
Attached is picture of Mamma and the first 2 babies. I had bad luck with my last Broody rounds and babies, but this one has been the sweetest! Best demeanor or the 3 birds. 1)Midnight Majestic Maran (she was good but chick drowned on day3-4) 2) Auracana she would always peck me when checking eggs and she ended up killing one of the chicks.
3) Speckled Sussex- calm, she would coo at me when I would check eggs and pet her. I just love all of my girls!!
