Broody went missing today!!! **NEW UPDATE Pg 3**

I just LOVE a happy ending!! Sooooo glad she's okay!

I glad too that she came back. How is she doing?

I just checked on her and she is doing well! She was very hungry, so after she ate and warmed up a bit, she started talking to me when I went in. She isn't interacting with her babies, but maybe she is just exhausted. She was perching with the rest of the crew. she is still holding her wing funny, I don;t know if she hurt it getting out and struggling or if something tried to get her while she was out. I fixed the netting so nothing else could happen.


I am so thankful to have her home!

I'm glad she's back safe - albeit injured - will she take back her chicks or is she too traumatized? At any rate, she's back and that is good news!

I don't know if she will go back with them. One of the other hens had taken on the motherly instincts and is taking care of them now. When I put Momma hen back in, the one that is taking care of them(we call her Aunt Sophie) wouldn't let her near them!

thats good i love a happy ending. your story sounds like when my hen went missing. i never let them out of the coop and it was also when we had a snow storm. its weird.

we got like 6 inches of snow and i didnt let them out of the coop b/c of the snow and she was in the coop the night before and then like a week later when all the snow went away there where her feathers under the snow.
