Broody with single chick, seems to be ignoring it, advice needed!

New chicks are never easier to fold into your flock than the chicks who spent their whole chick-hood living with the flock under their mother's protection. You do a great disservice to a chick when you raise it separate because once it is weaned by mommie, it must fend for itself without being properly introduced to the cruel realities of life with the flock.

Very much agree with this.
 
Glad I kept her with mum. They're doing great (mums still half hearted!) and she's feathering out nicely now:)
