Broody Wyandotte question

Advice: don't hatch when it is cold out! It is miserable trying to make sure the chicks are warm enough and trying to keep them warm and the water is frozen and sometimes you have to bring them into the house and it is a lot of work. Take it from someone who knows! :) it was my first and last autumn/winter hatch lol!

It's late winter/early spring where OP is from. Three weeks from now could be even warmer.
 
Oh okay, I thought she meant like wintertime.

Thanks for the advice! Yes we're in Australia so coming to the end of winter now, should be well into the start of spring by the time we collect enough&they hatch
