If you want her to set, a special coop just for her and the nest would be lovely. You want to make sure the other hens don’t add to her eggs (or eat them of course) once she starts incubating. Otherwise she may be sitting on eggs with widely varying hatch times. If you want some control, you could replace the eggs she has with marked ones, all about the same age. Do it when she goes out to eat & etc.It’s an extra We have a 8x12 for our actual.

I'd sell them now when they are in lay ans way before they molt.I almost want to get rid of some of the year old Wyandottes and the two RIRs. If I do, should I wait to get rid of them until the chicks are older to keep my cockerel happy? Advice?
