It's time to upgrade from the old LG and turner. I'm thinking of a Brower Top Hatch.

I'm very attracted to the dishwasher safe thing. The LG is a nightmare to sterilize after each hatch, and the humidity fluctuations are terrifying. I either have a fabulous hatch or a dismal failure.

So ... the Brower Top Hatch ...
Opinions?
Love it, hate it?
Price?
Where'd you buy yours?

Other suggestions of better 'bators if you don't like the Brower?

Thanks in advance-

I have had mixed results with mine. The problem is usually the humidity. My fan stopped working and the lid has cracked like crazy but the temps hold steady. The turner seems to work fine. I was interested in the bower because it would hold the larger eggs. Good luck and happy hatching. Chickens are habit forming. I have had mine for a year and it stays on and full

I did a heck of a lot of research before I bought my new 'bator, and from what I read, the Brinsea ECO 20 is the best bang for your buck. I've never had a Brower, but I just got the ECO 20 yesterday. Without a turner and plus shipping, the total was $123.99. So far, it's been amazingly easy. Open the box, pour some water in, plug it in, and adjust temperature (if you have to). I put the eggs in today, and the temperature has yet to change AT ALL in 24 hours. After opening, the temperature is back up in less than minutes. My eggs haven't been in long, so I have no input for hatch rate, but I have a good feelin'. :3

I've also heard that because of what the ECO is made of, it's very easy to clean. It only holds 24 eggs, though. Whatever you decide, I hope you have great hatches in the future!
