But... I have 35 more eggs collected, ready to ship tomorrow morning along with any that are laid tonight (I usually get 6-7 a day). Same pricing... just post "SOLD" here, or PM me. Very easy to hatch, and the sweetest babies. You just want to hug them and squeeze them and play with them and call them George.

ok quick questions >>> i am spose to do some sort of breeding project this year for FFA, and i cant do chickens cuz roosters crow.. obviously lol... and am in city limits.. soooooo here are my questions

do they make uber loud noises? when do they start to lay? thanks

Unless you had about 2000 of these birds, you would not have to worry about the noise. The male's "crow" is sort of a gurgling noise... kinda cute. As if he was gargling a cat-whistle (you know, like a guy whistling at a pretty girl.

)

They mature at 6 weeks, and that is when they usually start laying. I think that they would be a perfect project for FFA or 4H.

I do still have these eggs available, over 40 now.

holy poop!! omg how much are they all together!!!!!!!!!!
i am VERY interested! ( the thing is i have to do busniess experiance to get one of my degrees and a breeding project is the easiest way, so if i can get quail... and i have 2 LARGE rabbit hutches , so do u think that that would work for housing, cuz i know u cant let them free range) any quick difrences in incubation??

Rabbit hutches are perfect for the coturnix. Figure a minimum of 1 sf per bird, and a 1:3 ratio for male:female and you shouldn't have any problems. Any extras I HEAR are good on the table, but mine always go so fast I haven't tried any yet.

I'll PM you...

I am still getting 6-7 eggs per day, some from my new jumbo coturnix that need to be fertility tested. I expect, at this rate, to have somewhere in the ballpark of 35-40 eggs available to ship 9/15. They are all this week's eggs, so they are fresh.
Please post "SOLD" here and PM me if you would like them. They are clean, and fresh.

Are you counting MINE being shipped out that week? If not, CHECK YOUR PMs!!!

I'd love to have some of the jumbo ones slipped in there, too, you know, just to help you with your fertility testing.
