We occasionally get eggs with brown speckles. I also have a hen who lays eggs with a pinkish tint. When the eggs get wet, the 'pinkness' goes away, and dark brown speckles appear! When the eggs dry out, the pink comes back, and the speckles disappear! We call them Magic Eggs.
