The breeds are a mixture of several varieties of brown egg layers. There are also some purebred Delawares and some purebred Rhode Island Reds. They were hatched 8/25. I'm selling them unsexed for $3 each.
Please PM with any questions.
Thanks!

Hello Sunnychooks:

I am very new to this, but I am looking to purchase two female chick hens for my daughter's birthday this coming Monday. We are looking for brown egg layers so it sounds like what you have might be ideal. Where in New Jersey are you? We are in Westchester County just north of New York City.

By the way, our good friends and neighbors have been raising chickens for years so they will be going to a home with very capable guidance - just to be clear.

Please try me at my office or through e-mail - details below. Thanks.

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo

do you still have any chicls? (and where in Jersey are you?) I'm in NY but could reach northern Jersey quite easily.... It would have to be soon, as I'm looking to slip some chicks under a broody mama.. you can email me at Berber AT web4.org
Thanks,
Bernadette

Hello Bernadette:

Send Sunnychooks a Private Message - that was how I reached her. She runs a lovely farm in Jackson, NJ (half-way down the state, near the shore.) It took me less than two hours each way from lower Westchester County, NY. I bought six lovely chicks from her this past Saturday and at the time she still had at least a dozen left. Wonderful, smart people, nice facility - I highly recommend them.

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo

Thank you so much, Jeff!

Hi Dolph~
I'm in Jackson, about 1 1/2 miles from Exit 22 off of Rt 195.

Hi Jan

Just want to let you know that the exchequer leghorn girls, Lucy and Ethel, are doing great and getting big. They joined the new girls I picked up a few weeks ago and got along great right from the beginning and have now moved into the big coop and are loving the free ranging all day.
