I’d definitely would use the pullet if she had leakage on her neck

I love the purple and green sheen on the feathers

This pullet I will butcher when she is older. She definitely has a small beak deformity

I’d also like to use this cockerel but he doesn’t have good muffs/beard and I’d really like to improve the beards

I’m tempted to keep these two and start a brown red line because no one really breeds brown red D’Uccles. If the hen keeps her brown red I’d like to use her to improve the leakage of the hens (these two must of cam from my brown red F1 hen)

I think some of the deformities I saw in the beginning they grew out of and I think some of it had to do with them living in a rabbit hutch off the ground. They weren’t able to trim their beaks that well.

Look at those feet. Unfortunately I believe this chick will feather out in the Japanese mottled rather than regular mottled and won’t have leakage but we will see

I wonder is the Japanese mottled gene is a recessive gene. May have to do some research.

Looks to be a pullet right now but there is some leakage coming in on the neck making me think in may be a cockerel

Hi y’all!!! Don’t worry I have not forgotten about this project! Due to remodeling my breeding pens and the weather has set my breeding season back

As of who is up to breed first….

F1MFxF1MF and Hen (F1MF x F1MFxF1MF)
I’ve got six eggs in the incubator due to hatch May 7. I need to get pics of the F1MF x F1MFxF1MF hen, she has grown up so much but is a tiny little girl!

I did lose one of the older hens to a predator I believe it was the F1MFxF1MF.

Also far the rooster and his eye…. He still has a weird eye and the test was right he does not have Merek’s. If he did he would of died a long time ago.
