Brown Sussex genetics

Thank you so much but I really will spend the time to save a breed from extinction. Regardless of what anyone thinks of the Brussbar, I believe they aea worth it. Thank you so much for all the information and appreciate your time.

Do you believe that recreating the Brussbar from their known constituent breeds would be "Saving" them from extinction? To me you would be recreating them instead of "Saving" them, unless you have access to at least a breeding pair that can date their lineage back to the original stock, you will not be saving them, but I wish you the best of luck in your endeavour :bow

Ya know, I believe we have to do what we have to do to save a breed so rare that only 1 breeder has them in UK. If you can import them, more power to you. They were started by creating, why can't the breed be saved by creating again. I'm sorry for some reason you don't believe in what I'm doing, but I think they are worth it. How do you think you have yours poultry, maybe, just maybe, someone bred their birds years ago to make the breed. :idunno

I believe Angelina had her feathers ruffled by Marvin needing to comment about her idea of saving them from extinction vs his idea of it being recreating the breed.
In the midst of that you posted a shout out to Marvin about his award which probably didn't set well with the timing.
You know insult to injury at the time kinda thing
Just how I read it
