Have 7 Bruges Fighters coming from Greenfire on Thursday. I am very excited to get a flock of these going. The Liege fighter has become one of my favorites.
(From GFF description)

It is the oldest of the three native Belgian game fowl breeds having emerged in the early 1800s near the town of Bruges in northwest Belgium. Bruges, located along the coast near the English Channel, was a focal point of trade for centuries and convenient to nearby France, the Netherlands, and England. It was a melting pot for chicken genetics throughout this region of Europe, and some magical combination of genes more than two centuries ago was combined to create what many consider the ultimate game fowl, the Bruges Fighter.

Anyone else have these? Or planning to get some?

7 Chicks. 3 Black, 2 Chipmunk, 2 dark Brownish/black

I have some coming in the mail this week…I thought they were fibro?
Let us know how they look and post some pics! I do believe some of them are fibro, curious what kind of range/standard there is currently with them being a new import. There seems to be some range of color in the pics on their site. One rooster with a very dark face, and the others with bright red in the combs and wattles. I will be curious to see how they mature.

I bought some mixed from Greenfire and received one all black Bruges chick. Turns out she's a pullet. I also got one pullet Liege fighter who's solid gray/blue. 3 flarry eye gray chicks left. Only roosters I have are Flarry eye grey and barred rock (not sure how they will get along yet but the flarry eye cockerel always fought since 5 days old with his chick mate competition and today found the smaller cockerel dead).

The bruges and liege pullets are not as friendly as my more common chicks. I'm still trying to socialize them. Hopefully the flarry eye cockerel mellows out too or else he's going.

Sad... I really wanted a liege or bruges rooster.

Awww…my Bruges chicks are suuuper tame! But I’ve also been handling them since day one.

A couple of updated pics. Too hot to take more.

Well now I'm down to just one flarry eye grey cockerel. I had to rehome to barred rock rooster because he started attacking the kids (not me though). I realized that I have never owned a white* or white ish rooster that was nice around people... Coincidence?
