Scorch neared Inferno and Ace, running her sister away and taking her place beside the stallion. Inferno circled around and stood on Ace's other side.

Scorch snorted and backed her ears at Ace. Relaxing, she lowered her head, letting her eyes close. She liked being near him.

Inferno was dozing lightly, her muzzle nearly dipping into the water.

Ace was just falling asleep, when a large bird flew right over his head. His eyes sprung open, and he scrambled to get out of the water in his fright

Startled awake, Inferno and Scorch scattered, bolting in two separate directions. Both pursued by the other one's foal.

Scorch stopped first and turned around. Myollnir stood behind her.

Inferno soon stopped, Adara behind her, and turned to look at Ace.
