"Well, goodbye." Scarlet galloped away without another word.Orestes agreed with her about the 'prissy' comment. When she moved toward him again, he trotted to the side. Though uneasy, he circled Scarlet, his tail nearly hiked over his back.
Orestes drew to a stop. He watched Scarlet a few seconds then turned and continued on his way. Apparently, that mare's brain was loose, and it switched from one mood to another. "I think we'll keep nuts out of the gene pool.""Well, goodbye." Scarlet galloped away without another word.
Scorch dozed lightly, willing to let Ace stand guard for now. Inferno stretched out with the foals for some REM sleep.
Scorch woke after about half an hour. She looked at Ace. "You can rest now. I'll keep watch. We'll continue after dark."Ace flicked his tail sharply at a large irritating fly. He glanced back at the mares

As night fell, Scorch began a quiet whinnying to rouse her herd. The temperature had fallen as the sun had set, and it was pleasantly cooler now.(Sure :3)
