Brumbies Of Silver Falls- A Role Play Always Accepting! *RESTART*

Aces eyes flickered open when he heard Scorch. Now fully awake, he reached out his head a bit to nudge Inferno gently
Inferno opened her eyes and turned her head to nudge the foals asleep at her side. Adara was first up, and she moved to nurse from Scorch. Myollnir soon followed his sister.

As Inferno climbed to her hooves, Scorch stood, letting the foals nurse, and looked at Ace. She didn't want to ask for help, but leading her herd to its death wasn't good, either. "Do you this land and where we might find food and water? I'm not familiar with it."

Orestes drew to a stop. He watched Scarlet a few seconds then turned and continued on his way. Apparently, that mare's brain was loose, and it switched from one mood to another. "I think we'll keep nuts out of the gene pool."
Scarlet stopped and looked behind her shoulder at him. She sighed and continued running.

Orestes turned his head, watching Scarlet. Curiosity was getting the best of him. He wanted to know more. Turning around, he trotted after the mare, following her trail.

Ace turned his attention to Scorch and thought. He had been here before, he was sure of it. But it was only once, and a long time ago at that. He finally answered her "I'm pretty sure there is better grass on the other side of this place, we just have to keep going"

Scorch closed her eyes, lowering her head. She hoped they could reach this 'better grass' before sunrise, and the land heated up. She turned, opening her eyes, and started walking. "Alright, let's go."

Adara and Myollnir followed her, and Inferno trailed behind the foals.

This time Ace walked with his head level with Infernos side, instead of directly behind her. He was built for these conditions, being an Akhel teke, so didn't feel the heat during the day as much as the mares might. Ace stumbled a bit in the darkness, and heard a quiet but ever present hiss...

Scorch slowed, allowing Ace to walk alongside her. She didn't know where she was going, but he appeared to.

Inferno walked on Ace's other side, the foals between her and their sire.

Ace froze and pinned his ears when the hiss grew louder. He trembled slightly, he knew that sound. It was unmistakable, though he had never seen a snake himself. The palomino stallion took a careful step back, and in doing so made the snake even more cranky

Scorch stopped and turned her head, her ears swiveling. Inferno nudged the foals away from whatever was hissing. "Where is it?" she asked, keeping the newborns from wandering off by blocking them with her head.

Ace now shoved his ears forward, straining to hear where it was coming from. But it was quite now, and he could only make out the sand in front of them in the darkness. He snorted nerviously, all his instincts telling his to run
