Zachorzi stood watch during the night, keeping lookout, so his mares and foal could rest. As morning broke, he greeted his herd and the day with a cheerful whinny. For now, his good side dominated his thoughts, and he preferred it to stay that way.

Angel looked to Zachorzi and whinnied then rose to her feet so that Myra could nurse. She glanced around for Sapphire and Saya

Saya emerged out of the brush once more, her foal trailing directly behind her. She nickered to her new herd-mates.
