So here's my problem... my Aunt Fey in Arkansa wants some of my Orpington Hatching Eggs which are here in Southern California. I will have to ship them to her, but people have told me that bubble wrapping the eggs will suffocate them. Is this true and will the eggs die before reaching her???

Are there any breeders out there who have shipped eggs before and know if bubble wrapping them will suffocate the eggs???

Or does anyone have other methods of packaging the eggs for better hatching!!!

I believe that DipsyDoodleDoo here on BYC has some instructions on her page as to how she packages eggs to be shipped so you can see how it should be done. But no, bubble wrap won't hurt your eggs - it is the most common way to ship eggs.

Here's the link you need
