Bubbly eye

You put a drop or two of what. Saline? And did you just put the electrolytes in the water or in the shot with the Tylan? I have a bunch of my chickens coming down with this and I need to stop it now before I have to cull my flock!

I would guess a drop of tylan. I've done this for eye problems as well. As far as the injections just do them sub-cue not into the muscle and avoid the problems it can cause. also it helps to use a smaller gauge syringe. 20-22 works best with tylan 5 for me. the small size reduces leakage of the drug as well.

My chicken, named Bubbles, has had this her entire life. She is only 1 1/2 years of age and the someday she has more bubbly eye than others. She is one of our best layers.
