Congratulations to everyone on their show wins! Who were the judges?

Sydney earned Overall Reserve Large Fowl for the second time this year. This was a brother to the one that won earlier this year. As far as the judges...they were good ones!!!! Gary Overton, Mike Wasylkowski, Pat Lacey, and Rick Porr. Mike Wasylkowski judged the American Class. I was told that it was nice to see DARK buckeyes; thats the the way they should be. John Brown earned Reserve Class Champion AOCCL with a bantam buckeye cockerel.

Mike is my favorite American class judge. He knows his Buckeyes and is willing to fight for them. I wish I'd known he was there, I would have had you tell him I said hello!

Well, I was sad to see a white rock pullet won all.............and there was alot of BRs & WRs and Bucks & my Java pair...........but I was beaten by the best=
Jim Volk.
No one can touch his White Rocks...even, as he told me today, Blosl.
he told me all about when they were kids together out here, fishing & raising birds...and blosl moved, and has not shown for so long.
Yet they still talk weekly on the phone...Jim & Bob.
So I got 2nd...................
