I wanted to post some pictures of my Buckeyes that I hatched out from Laura over New Years, let me know what you think:

Oh no, these guys and ladies are staying right here. They are the friendliest chicks I have had. Every time I put my hand into the brooder they run over and love to have their chest rubbed. I will say that they are the quietest chicks I have had to. They don't cheep nearly as much as my opringtons.

Is it May, yet? I am getting some chicks from BuckeyeDave, but not until after the fair. Seeing those chick pics makes me want to get them now!!

I've got another broody hen. She's making the nest and scooting the eggs under her. Another day or two and I'll move her to a nice dark-cornered cage all her own and see if she sticks.
